My Favorite Subject Is Math - 758 Words

Karlie is thirteen years old and is an eighth grader at Maple River Middle school in Mapleton, Minnesota. Her birthday is July 31st. She is the oldest in her family. She has one younger sister, Leah, who is in fifth grade. Karlie’s parents are married. Karlie’s mother never attended college nor did Karlie’s dad. Nevertheless, they are both successful in their current careers. Karlie’s mother works at CVS as a Pharmacist Technician and Karlie’s father is a metal worker fabricator. Before Karlie started school, her mother stayed with her full-time. Therefore, she never went to daycare or interact a lot with other kids until she was in preschool. Karlie’s enjoys going to school. She is earning all B’s. Her favorite subject is Math because it is easy to do. Her least favorite subject is Physical Education. Karlie enjoys singing in the Choir and being in Drama Club; she is currently taking piano lessons. If she is not doing drama or playing the piano, she babysits her little cousins. Karlie has a very structured schedule after school and in the summertime. After she is done with drama, Karlie’s goes home, has a snack and does homework until suppertime. After supper she does homework and then watches a little television before bed. According to Karlie’s mom, Karlie has to study hard to earn her grades. School isn’t easy for Karlie; Karlie becomes overwhelmed with homework if she doesn’t stay on top of all her subjects.
